About FabriqWise.

FabriqWise started because reading a fabric label shouldn't feel like homework. Here's why we built it, and how we think about what you wear.

Why we built it

Here's the honest version. After years of buying a lot of fast fashion, I started actually reading the labels. That got real after I became a mom: suddenly I cared a lot more about what was touching my family's skin, how things would hold up, how they'd feel after ten washes.

But every time I looked, I'd hit a word I didn't know. Viscose. TENCEL™. Modal. Elastane. Recycled polyester. OEKO-TEX®. So I'd stop, open a new tab, read three articles, and lose track of what I was even shopping for.

FabriqWise is the tool I wish I'd had. It works right where you already shop. It reads the composition on the product page and tells you, in plain language, what those materials and certifications actually mean.

How we think about fabric

We're not here to tell you there's one right answer. Expensive natural fibers don't fit every budget, or every life. And synthetics aren't automatically the wrong call. A wool coat, a silk blouse, a cotton onesie, a synthetic rain shell: each one can be exactly the right choice, depending on what you need it for and who's wearing it.

What we want is simpler. Help you read the label, see what actually matters, and pick what fits your life, your budget, and the things you care about.

Version 0

We'd love your feedback.

We're in our version 0 days, so if you found us this early, honestly, thank you. We'd love to hear what you think: whether the extension helped, whether something felt off, a feature you wish existed, or just a stray thought you had while using it.

Every bit of it shapes what FabriqWise becomes next.
